Born and raised in Medellín, Colombia, Juanes is unquestionably Latin Rock’s leading global ambassador and champion for social change. Hailed by TIME as “one of the 100 Most-Influential People in the World,” Juanes is the only artist holding TWO of Billboard’s”Top-5 Latin Pop Songs of All-Time,” has 13 #1 U.S. singles to his credit, dozens of groundbreaking Spanish language television appearances and has collected a staggering TWENTY-NINE combined GRAMMY & Latin Grammy Awards (from a record-setting 49 nominations for a solo artist). Known for his distinctive sound that fuses a deep love of rock & pop music with smartly crafted, multi-layered songwriting and a deep reverence for the traditional folk and other indigenous rhythms of Colombia and Latin America, Juanes has sold millions of records around the world.

 

Earlier Juanes completed an extensive first North American run of his highly praised “VIDA COTIDIANA WORLD TOUR”. The powerful rock guitar tour (driven by the sound of Juanes’ own recently unveiled signature Fender Stratocaster) is both a live celebration of the Colombian superstar’s highly personal  “Best Latin Rock /Alternative” GRAMMY winning album Vida Cotidiana  (‘Everyday Life’), and an immersive journey through his numerous chart-topping greatest hits. This Fall saw the Colombian superstar make his feature film acting debut in the just released Pimpinero: Blood and Oil,  and extend the U.S. “VIDA COTIDIANA Tour" dates to over 40 -with a by-demand limited run second leg traveling to new or rarely visited cities.
