Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa has partnered with award-winning Chef Michelle Bernstein to feature exclusive “Sabores” menu at Fresh Harvest Buffet, available now through October 31.

As part of it’s Hispanic Heritage Month celebration, Fresh Harvest Buffet is now offering the limited-time Sabores food menu showcasing Chef Bernstein’s signature Latin-inspired dishes. Featured selections include Arroz con Pollo (Adobo-seasoned chicken served over saffron-infused yellow rice, topped with a cherry tomato and herb salad); Lechón Asado (Slow-roasted pork butt marinated in citrus and herbs, topped with mojo onions and crispy chicharrones); Churrasco with Salsa Criolla (Grilled prime steak served with a tangy salsa criolla and wispy potatoes); and Fish Stew with Chorizo and Garbanzos (Local fish nestled in a smoky chickpea and chorizo stew with kale and confit cherry tomatoes).

Additionally, guests can enjoy limited-edition cocktail specials at multiple venues throughout Seminole Hard Rock Tampa. Specialty cocktails include Disco Inferno (A spicy tropical mix of Patrón Reposado, lime, passion fruit, and spicy agave nectar, rimmed with mint, salt and pepper); Domino Old Fashioned (A bold, spirit-forward mix of Angel’s Envy Rye and Bacardí Ocho with chocolate and Angostura bitters); and Coconut Mojito (A tropical twist on the mojito with coconut rum, lime, mint, and soda).       

Born and raised in Miami, of Latin descent, Chef Michelle Bernstein (affectionately known to many as “Michy”) has been a culinary trailblazer since her rise in the late 1990s. Since then, she has opened some of Miami’s most iconic restaurants, including her beloved Sra. Martinez, the original Michy’s, Café La Trova, a busy catering service (MBC Catering), and most recently, La Cañita. Additionally, Bernstein and her husband and business partner, David Martinez, are partners in the internationally recognized Miami Beach cocktail bar, Sweet Liberty, where Bernstein developed a creative menu of fun, interesting twists on American classic cuisine. Outside of her presence in the culinary scene, she is well known for her two TV shows, PBS’s “Check, Please!” and “SoFLo Taste” on WPLG Local 10. Her cooking style—highlighted in her cookbook, “Cuisine a Latina”—draws from her global tasting experiences and rich culinary heritage. In 2008, she made history as the first woman to win the James Beard Award for Best Chef: Southeast.
