The Tom Stein Quartet with featured vocalist Deanna Jones

Pianist Tom Stein and his quartet are delighted to be performing at the Hard Rock Council Oak Stage. This group plays traditional and contemporary jazz, and features Ken Stein on woodwinds, bassist Tony Wisniewski, and drummer Dave Sterner. Members of this group have performed with artists such as Tony Bennett, The Manhattan Transfer, Todd Rundgren, Glen Campbell, Bob Hope, Rockford Symphony Orchestra, Milwaukee Ballet, and Jodi Benson (voice of “The Little Mermaid”).

Vocalist Deanna Jones’ repertoire consists of jazz standards, pop, musical theater and Disney selections. While based in New York City, she was active as a house bandleader and songstress at esteemed venues such as the NYC Plaza, Waldorf, St. Regis, The Four Seasons, and Ritz Carlton, and performed for wedding and other clients who included Kenneth Cole and Maria Cuomo, Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, Geraldo Rivera, Jimmy Buffett, Bette Midler, Matt Lauer, Ron Lauder, Ronald Perelman and Carolyne Roehm. Deanna was a featured performer for the Ronald Reagan and George Bush Presidential Inaugurals. She has also performed at Maxim’s in Paris, and was a featured vocalist as an opening act for Tony Bennett, Whitney Houston, Paul Anka, the Count Basie Orchestra and MC Hammer in a celebration for the royal family in Monte Carlo. She has been featured in the NY Times, the NY Post, People Magazine, US Magazine, and Martha Stewart’s “Favorite Things”, and has been a regular journalistic contributor for Modern Brides, Brides, and Town & Country Weddings.
