Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa is set to open a new L Bar and a new casino section this Friday evening, Dec. 21, while offering additional offsite parking for guests.

L Bar

Designed by the renowned Wimberley Interiors, considered one of the world’s leading design consultants in the hospitality industry, L Bar welcomes you with a striking lighting installation of 2,735 colorful crystal diamonds. Guests will unwind in L Bar’s plush lounges, cozy corners and sleek bar stools. The elevated space features opulent tones, modern textures and luxe lighting, creating an ethereal, futuristic feel. The diamond motif then repeats in the luscious velvet upholstered wall panels and gold-studded tufting of the custom sofas.

The subdued lighting and rich color palette of deep maroon, silver and gold create an intimate atmosphere that is stylish and timeless like the best music salons of the Golden Era of Hollywood. L Bar also includes a stage as home to a regular rotating roster of live music entertainment from Fridays to Sundays.

Located between the two hotel towers, it has something for everyone; offering a combination of classic favorites; trendy aspirational concoctions; over 30 different selections of bourbon; as well as local and imported beer, wine, and champagne.

L Bar offers the finest handcrafted cocktails using fresh, seasonal produce, house-made syrups and inventive techniques for a menu that’s progressive yet nostalgic and ever-evolving.

Signature cocktails take center stage ‘L-evating the classics’ with offerings including the Cucumber Smash (cucumber vodka, macerated fruit, ginger beer and lime), the Blueberry Margarita (silver tequila, blueberry liqueur, pineapple juice and lime) and the Penicillin (Scotch whisky, Islay mist, ginger honey syrup and lemon juice).

Covering 2,662 square feet, L Bar offers 24-hour service and provides seating for up to 130 people.

New Casino Section

The new casino section is over 33,000 square feet and located adjacent to L Bar and Rise Kitchen & Bakery. It offers 880 slot machines and 19 live-action blackjack tables.

Some of the popular games from the main casino that will also be in the new area include Aristocrat’s Lightning Link and Dragon Link; Scientific Games’ 88 Fortunes, Dancing Drums, and Quick Hits; IGT’s Wheel of Fortune, Stinkin’ Rich and Cleopatra; and Incredible Technologies’ Crazy Money Deluxe.

Additional Parking

The property will also offer additional offsite parking to guests through the end of 2018. The parking lot is located at the Florida State Fairgrounds which is accessible from Orient Road. Non-stop shuttle service to and from the casino will be provided utilizing the north entrance. It has 24-hour security.
