Born in Maracaibo, Venezuela, Diveana is one of the most recognized figures in merengue and techno-merengue across Latin America. Nicknamed “Tu Reina” (“Your Queen”) for her electrifying energy and stage charisma, she rose to prominence in the 1990s as the female lead vocalist of the legendary orchestra Los Melódicos, where she quickly became one of the most outstanding voices of the genre.
Since her debut in 1987 with the hit “Papachongo,” and with signature songs such as “Tú” and “La Perla de Margarita,” she has built a solid career as a solo artist. Her vibrant performances and unmistakable style have established her as a reference point in tropical music and one of the most beloved and influential artists of her generation.
