Little River Band

Little River Band (LRB) was established in Melbourne, Australia, in 1975, bringing together accomplished musicians from several successful Australian groups. With a clear ambition to break into the North American market, the band quickly gained recognition through its strong songwriting, distinctive vocal performances, and signature harmonies. Their sound resonated with audiences worldwide, earning them a reputation as one of the most celebrated vocal groups of the 1970s and 1980s.

From 1976 to 1983, LRB enjoyed remarkable success on the U.S. charts with a string of hit singles, including It's a Long Way There, Help Is on Its Way, Happy Anniversary, Reminiscing, Lady, Cool Change, Lonesome Loser, The Night Owls, Take It Easy On Me, Man On Your Mind, We Two, and The Other Guy. In 1982, the band made Billboard history by becoming the first group to achieve Top 10 U.S. hits in six consecutive years.
