Warrant

Warrant is an American glam metal band formed in 1984 in Hollywood, California. The group rose to prominence during the late 1980s and early 1990s, selling more than 10 million albums worldwide and establishing itself as one of the era's most successful hard rock acts.

The band broke into the mainstream with its double-platinum debut album, Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich (1989), which featured several hit singles, including "Heaven." The power ballad became Warrant's highest-charting song, reaching No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Warrant's success continued with the double-platinum album Cherry Pie (1990), driven by the title track and its iconic music video, which helped cement the band's place in the glam metal scene.

More than four decades after its formation, Warrant remains active, continuing to record and tour. The band is currently fronted by former Lynch Mob vocalist Robert Mason, who joined the group in 2008.
