Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa is celebrating its one‑year anniversary with ten days of music, celebration and community connection. From June 26 to July 5, the property will mark this milestone with headline concerts, Canada Day fireworks, prizes, promotions and a meaningful local music donation, reinforcing Hard Rock’s commitment to live entertainment and the Ottawa community.

The celebration is anchored by major live performances at Hard Rock LIVE, featuring globally recognized artists and iconic Canadian bands:

  • June 26 – Stuff You Should Know Live
  • June 27 – Chicago
  • June 30 – 54‑40 with special guest Sass Jordan
  • July 3 – Our Lady Peace
  • July 4 – The Tea Party

A Milestone Moment on July 3
July 3 officially marks Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa’s one‑year anniversary. To celebrate, guests can enjoy prizes and promotions taking place throughout the property all day long, alongside the evening performance by Our Lady Peace.

Anniversary Promotions and Events
Guests can take part in a variety of promotions and experiences throughout the anniversary period, including:

  • June 28 – Buy one entrée and receive a free dessert at Hard Rock Cafe
  • June 29 – Slot tournament
  • July 1 – Canada Day celebration featuring fireworks and a free live concert at Hard Rock LIVE, broadcast to screens on the outdoor viewing area with jumbotron available for all ages. Barbeque food and beverage will be available, with entertainment beginning at 7 pm. Guests can also enjoy hourly hot seat draws from 10 am to 10 pm, with three winners each hour receiving $100 in Free Play
  • July 2 – Win Your Age in Cash multiplier draws
  • July 5 – Free gift for the first 2,000 Unity members

 

Canada Day Fireworks Return
As part of the anniversary festivities, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa will once again host its traditional Canada Day fireworks celebration on July 1, inviting guests and the local community to celebrate Canada’s birthday in signature Hard Rock style.

Giving Back Through Music
Music remains at the heart of the Hard Rock brand. As part of its corporate social responsibility commitment, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa will mark its one‑year anniversary with a $10,000 donation to The Royal, supporting the Lives Reclaimed campaign.

The donation will help fund the The Royal's, including care, research and access to services that support recovery and wellness, such as The Royal’s Music and Mental Health Research Clinic, which explores the connection between music and mental health.
