Barenaked Ladies

Formed in Scarborough, Ontario in 1988, Barenaked Ladies have spent more than three decades entertaining audiences around the world, selling over 15 million albums and earning a reputation as one of Canada's most beloved bands. While their early sound was rooted in acoustic music, their style has evolved over the years to incorporate a wide range of musical influences and genres.

 

The band's breakthrough came with The Yellow Tape (1991), originally intended as a demo recording. It became the first independent release in Canada to achieve platinum certification, selling more than 100,000 copies.

 

Over the years, Barenaked Ladies have performed on some of the world's most prestigious stages, including Madison Square Garden, Royal Albert Hall, and Wembley Arena. Their catalogue includes fan favourites such as "If I Had $1,000,000," "Brian Wilson," "Pinch Me," "It's All Been Done," "Jane," and "Odds Are."
