Willy Chirino: Sigo Pa’lante Tour Rescheduled for Hard Rock Event Center at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa - Now Set for Sunday, March 2, 2025 at 8 p.m.
The Willy Chirino: Sigo Pa’lante tour coming to Hard Rock Event Center at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa has been rescheduled to Sunday, March 2, 2025, at 8 p.m.
Due to the ongoing impact of Hurricanes Milton and Helene, the Hard Rock Event Center is the site of a temporary state-designated shelter for families affected by the hurricanes. As a result, the venue is unable to host the performance originally scheduled for Sunday, October 20, 2024.
Tickets are now available via seminolehardrocktampa.com and Ticketmaster. For guests who have already purchased tickets, all tickets for the originally scheduled show will remain valid for the rescheduled date. Guests who can no longer attend can get refunds at point of purchase within a 30-day window after the new date announcement.
Willy Chirino is considered the creator of the “Miami Sound”, a fusion of Cuban and Brazilian rhythms with rock and jazz. The singer-songwriter, born in Cuba and based in South Florida, has a musical repertoire of more than 100 songs and 30 albums.
In a career spanning five decades, Chirino has accumulated a long list of awards for his musical and charitable contributions to the Latin community: 2006 GRAMMY® for Best Salsa/Merengue Album; Latin GRAMMY® nomination for Best Salsa Album in 2007; two streets are named after him in Miami; They awarded him a star on the famous Calle Ocho; a FACE award, recognition from UNICEF and a Hispanic Heritage Award for his philanthropic work through the Willy Chirino Foundation.
In 2014, he received the highest honor that the Latin Recording Academy gives to an artist: the Musical Excellence Award for his artistic career. Over the past two years, he has received countless awards around the world to mark his 50-year career.
