In 1967, Chicago natives Walter Parazaider, Terry Kath, Danny Seraphine, Lee Loughnane, James Pankow, Robert Lamm, and Peter Cetera united with a single goal: to blend the diverse musical influences of their hometown and create a new sound, a rock ’n’ roll band powered by horns.

Their vision led to extraordinary commercial success, with record sales surpassing 100 million. The group produced 21 Top 10 singles, five consecutive Number One albums, eleven Number One singles, and five Gold singles. An impressive 25 of their 34 albums achieved platinum status, giving the band a total of 47 gold and platinum awards.
