Salsa singer Jimmy Rodriguez, also known as “El Salsero Mexicano,” is coming to Stage Bar at Seminole Classic Casino in Hollywood, Fla. on Friday, November 8 at 8 p.m. The event is free and exclusively for Unity Members. The Mexican-born star was raised in San Luis Potosí and began his musical career singing on buses to support his family. At 20, he moved to Los Angeles, performing on the Santa Monica Pier to fund his first EPs.

 

Thanks to his talent, Rodriguez has shared stages with internationally acclaimed artists such as Carlos Vives, Marc Anthony, and living salsa legends like Tito Nieves. 

 

From 2020 to 2023, Rodriguez was the lead singer of Adolescentes Orquesta, becoming the first Mexican in the group. At the end of 2023, he released his single El Rumbón, in collaboration with Motiff, who has produced hits for artists like Marc Anthony and Tony Succar, the Grammy-winning producer and musician.

 

"La Salsa de Ahora," his single in collaboration with Motiff, Ronald Borjas, Luis Figueroa, Jonathan Moly, and Nesty, is a song that fuses the best of salsa and Latin rhythms.

 

Rodriguez made history by performing at the National Auditorium of Mexico, the most important venue in Mexico and Latin America. He was part of Olga Tañón's concert, where he performed his hit El Rumbón and shared the stage with the renowned Puerto Rican singer.
