Legendary writer, producer, arranger and performer Brian Wilson with special guests Al Jardine and Blondie Chaplin will celebrate the holidays with “The Christmas Album Live” performance at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla. at the resort’s new Hard Rock Event Center on Wednesday, Dec. 12, at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale Monday, May 21, at 10 a.m. Brian Wilson VIP packages are available beginning Tuesday, April 3, at 10 a.m. American Express cardholders can purchase tickets beginning Wednesday, April 4, at 10 a.m. Additionally, fans can access presale tickets beginning Thursday, April 5, at 10 a.m. through Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
For the first time this holiday season, Wilson, Jardine and Chaplin will perform the classic “The Beach Boys’ Christmas Album” in its entirety along with cuts from Wilson’s solo Christmas album and other holiday fan favorites. Additionally, fans can expect to hear The Beach Boys’ classic hits, including “Little Saint Nick,” “Man with all The Toys,” and a selection of Wilson’s favorite Yuletide songs, including “Blue Christmas” and “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town.”
At Hard Rock Event Center, Wilson will also perform songs from his critically acclaimed solo album, “All I Really Want for Christmas,” named for its Bernie Taupin-penned title track, as well as “Christmasey,” with lyrics by his friend Jimmy Webb.
Brian Wilson is a co-founder of The Beach Boys, a Kennedy Center Honors recipient, a Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee, a multiple-Grammy Award recipient, and a U.K. Music Hall of Fame inductee. As a member of The Beach Boys, Wilson was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988 and honored with The Recording Academy’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 2001.
