Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood Celebrates PINKTOBER® in Partnership with Hard Rock Heals Foundation® and American Cancer Society
Part of Hard Rock International’s annual campaign to support cancer awareness and research; proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society.
Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood proudly kicks off its annual month-long PINKTOBER campaign with this year’s theme “Amplify A Cure,” in support of breast cancer awareness and research. Throughout October, the resort will go pink to support fundraising efforts benefitting Hard Rock International’s charitable Hard Rock Heals Foundation® and the American Cancer Society.
“I wear pink as a tribute to my childhood best friend and grandmother, both of whom passed away due to cancer,” said William Otis, Director of Food & Beverage for Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, and this year’s Men Wear Pink Ambassador. “Wearing pink symbolizes our commitment to honoring unity, strength and resilience for cancer victims.”
PINKTOBER EATS
As part of the resort’s PINKTOBER efforts, various food and beverage outlets will feature limited edition pink menu items with a portion of all sales going to breast cancer research.
The PINKTOBER cocktail, Pink Lychee Martini will be available throughout the resort, including all four fine-dining restaurants and bars. The vodka-based cocktail combines lychee liqueur, lime juice and twice-patted-down candied hibiscus petals.
Council Oak Steaks & Seafood adds a gluten-free pink raspberry swirl with white chocolate mousse and a flourless chocolate sponge to the menu. On Sunday, Oct. 27, guests can also enjoy a PINKTOBER brunch at Council Oak, a pink take on the Hard Rock Signature Brunch. This weekly brunch happens every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with 10 food stations, including carving, seafood, sushi, pasta, bottomless bubbles, mimosas, bloody marys, sangria and dessert. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling (954) 327-7625. Proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society.
At Cipresso, guests can top off their meals with a pink zuppa inglese with mascarpone mousse, limoncello-soaked sponge, and strawberry compote with fresh strawberries.
The resort’s artisanal coffee shop, Constant Grind, features delectable sweets throughout October, including pink guava cream cheese petit gateau, lime angel food cake, and pink bonbons, made of raspberry rose water and lychee. On Fridays and Saturdays throughout October, guests can enjoy pink croissants filled with raspberry compote and vanilla mascarpone.
Guests dining at Rise Kitchen & Deli can try the pink cheesecake with strawberry-chocolate whipped ganache and berry compote.
For guests looking for more contemporary and classic dining, Beach Club Bar & Grill, Hard Rock Sports Bar and Hard Rock Cafe will serve all burgers on specialty pink buns throughout the month to show support.
PINKTOBER GAMING
The award-winning poker room at Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood is installing pink felts supporting PINKTOBER. Two select cash game tables will showcase a special pink felt and donate 5% of daily revenue. Additionally, for each Tuesday night tournament throughout October, $5 will be withheld from every entry to donate to the American Cancer Society. The Tuesday Tournaments are a $250 Quad Stack, featuring a $20,000 guarantee starting at 6 p.m.
In collaboration with Change for Change, players can donate the change from redeemed gaming vouchers all month long at any cash machine. Visit Player’s Club for details.
Players can spin slots for Hard Rock’s 25th PINKTOBER fundraising anniversary on Hard Rock Games, available on mobile or desktop devices. Guests can also link their Unity™ by Hard Rock account to earn rewards on qualified in-game purchases as they give back. Twenty players can win PINKTOBER merchandise from the Rock Shop® by spinning, completing levels and linking their cards. Additionally, every purchase of PINKTOBER merchandise with hearts from the Rewards Center will contribute to the cause.
Hard Rock Bet is incorporating branded elements in its highly-rated app throughout October. For every new player referred to the platform, Hard Rock Bet will donate to the Hard Rock Heals Foundation®.
PINKTOBER HOTEL & RESORT
As part of the Sound of Your Stay® amenity program, Picks® offers guests the opportunity to reserve a custom pink electric or acoustic guitar. Wax® allows guests to tune into the vinyl resurgence with a limited-edition “Stronger Together” pink vinyl record, featuring inspirational and empowering tracks.
The new 2024 limited PINKTOBER merchandise is available across the resort’s three Rock Shops®, while supplies last. The line includes tote bags, pins, long-sleeve crewnecks, t-shirts, and hoodies, with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the Hard Rock Heals Foundation®.
Other PINKTOBER initiatives include a luxurious pinked-out Bora Bora cabana, an overwater villa experience overlooking The Guitar Hotel’s exceptional pool landscape. Each Bora has VIP amenities including personal plunge pools, a private bathroom and personalized butler service. Proceeds from the rental will benefit the cause.
Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood is also bringing back two official PINKTOBER walls for photo opportunities in The Guitar Hotel lobby and the entrance of Hard Rock Hotel Porte-cochère, where guests can upload their pictures and show their support on social media by tagging @HardRockHolly and #PINKTOBER on Facebook, X and Instagram.
