Idan Amedi

Idan Amedi is an award-winning Israeli singer-songwriter, musician, and actor who has received significant recognition and numerous achievements in Israel and around the world. His musical journey began with his participation in the talent show “A Star is Born,” where he performed his self-composed song “Soldiers’ Pain” reflecting his military experiences.

 

In 2017, Amedi joined the cast of the popular Netflix television series Fauda, featuring one of his songs as its theme. On Oct. 7, Idan Amedi was called to duty and promptly began his service in Gaza. Amedi was seriously wounded in an explosion that killed six Israeli soldiers from his Engineering Corps reserve unit, sustaining severe injuries and underwent a long rehabilitation process. Now fully recovered, Idan, one of Israel’s most beloved artists, is returning to the stage, accompanied by his eight-piece band.
