Andrew Robinson

Andrew Robinson is a one-man band (loop artist) from Rockford, IL and plays primarily around Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. He writes and performs his own music, but not exclusively.

Being a "loop artist" means that he incorporates a loop pedal in my live performances and, at times, a slew of effects for texture and added depth. All of those elements help create a sonic landscape for many of the songs I perform. Although the technology is there, he doesn't pre-record anything, so he ensures the audience gets the full, live experience, faults and all.

Andrew has played all types of events and locations throughout the years; from wedding and graduation parties, to corporate events, hockey games, and church functions. His musical influences are ongoing and not necessarily always musical, making it nearly impossible to pinpoint and unfair to pigeon hole. He loves music, he loves people, and he loves creating music about people for people.
