Hard Rock Casino Rockford Donates Canceled Casino Cards to Wesley Willows Poker Club
Rockford, IL – Some local poker players hope to get a little luckier after they begin using “official” Hard Rock Casino Rockford canceled playing cards during Wesley Willows’ weekly “Poker Club.” Hard Rock is donating the cards to the senior living community.
“We are very thankful for the Hard Rock Casino donating the playing cards to our residents. Almost every single day different card groups meet,” said Melissa Wright, Director of Peterson Meadows and Wesley Willows. “The poker club meets weekly, and it means so much to us that Hard Rock was thinking of us when they were looking to donate the casino cards.
The donation, consisting of three boxes of canceled playing cards and SWAG bads for the residents, is part of Hard Rock Casino Rockford's commitment to giving back to the local community. The cards will add a touch of excitement to the Poker Club's weekly gatherings, providing entertainment and social engagement for the senior living community.
Andres Murillo, Hard Rock Casino Rockford Marketing Manager, expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative, stating, "At Hard Rock Casino Rockford, we believe in creating positive impacts in the communities we serve. Donating our canceled playing cards to Wesley Willows' Poker Club is a small way for us to contribute to the well-being and enjoyment of local residents."
Local poker clubs interested in incorporating canceled Hard Rock playing cards into their game nights can request donations through the official Hard Rock Casino Rockford website at https://www.hardrockcasinorockford.com/donations.
