About Foghat
In 2025, Foghat is celebrating two major milestones: 54 years of rock ‘n’ roll mayhem and 50 years of “Slow Ride,” the timeless anthem that put them on the global map and hasn’t let up since. Born in 1971 when Roger Earl and Lonesome Dave Peverett left Savoy Brown to carve their own path, Foghat quickly found their groove—and fans found a band they could crank up loud and boogie to. It all exploded in 1975 with Fool for the City, their double-platinum masterpiece featuring the now-legendary track “Slow Ride.” Just two years later, Foghat Live went multi-platinum and cemented their rep as one of rock’s most electrifying live bands. Half a century later, Foghat is still riding high. Their latest album, Sonic Mojo, dropped in November 2023 and blasted straight to #1 on the Billboard Blues Chart, staying in the Top 10 for 34 weeks. Critics raved about the record’s blend of blues, boogie, and rock swagger, with standout praise for slide guitar ace Bryan Bassett, powerhouse frontman Scott Holt, groove-master bassist Rodney O’Quinn, and the relentless force behind the kit—founding drummer Roger Earl. Rock and Blues Muse hailed the band’s ability to breathe new life into the blues. Blues Rock Review scored Sonic Mojo a 9/10, spotlighting Bassett’s searing guitar work. 100% Rock Magazine praised their precision and swagger, while Front Row Report called the album “a blast of fun, perfect for any road trip.” Foghat’s fanbase now spans generations. Whether you first heard “Slow Ride” blasting from your older brother’s stereo, playing on Guitar Hero III, or scoring scenes in Dazed & Confused or Top Gun: Maverick, the band’s infectious energy keeps pulling people in. Boomers to Gen Z, everyone shows up for the party—and Foghat brings it, every single night.
The current lineup is a mix of legacy and fresh fire:
Roger Earl – Founding drummer and heartbeat of the band.
Bryan Bassett – Slide guitar master (Wild Cherry, Molly Hatchet) Foghat member for over 30 years.
Rodney O’Quinn – Thunderous low end and vocals, formerly of the Pat Travers Band.
Scott Holt – Former Buddy Guy guitarist whose voice and fretwork bring a new edge to Foghat’s sound.
Together, they deliver a show that’s raw, real, and rocking—honoring the past while charging full throttle into the future. With eight Gold records, a Platinum, a Double Platinum, and a brand-new #1 album under their belt, Foghat isn’t just reliving the glory days. They’re making new ones. The Slow Ride 50th Anniversary Tour isn’t just a celebration of a classic song—it’s proof that Foghat is still blazing down the highway of rock ‘n’ roll, pedal to the metal. Fifty years of “Slow Ride.” Over five decades of boogie. And the ride’s not over yet. Catch Foghat live in 2025… and take it eeeaaassssyyyy.
About Nazareth
NaNazareth rose from playing the pubs, clubs and dance halls of their native Scotland to become one of the most successful rock bands in the world.
They were pioneers who took Scottish rock international paving the way for the many other great Scottish bands like Simple Minds, Texas, Big Country, Del Amitri, etc. The original four members first came together in Pete Agnew’s band “The Shadettes” in 1968, changed the name to ‘Nazareth’ in 1970 and from then went on to record a string of hits worldwide. Having recently released their 25th studio album (Surviving The Law) the band have been creating new music since the early 70’s right up to the present day and their repertoire features hits spanning five decades. Songs like ‘Broken Down Angel’, ‘Bad Bad Boy’, ‘Turn On Your Receiver’ ‘My White Bicycle’ all made their mark on the world charts alongside the mega hits ‘Dream On’, ‘This Flight Tonight’, ‘Hair Of The Dog’ and the one and only ‘Love Hurts’. Not only have the band gained a massive following of fans, many great artists claim that Nazareth had a big influence on them with some even recording Nazareth songs. (Guns N’ Roses with ‘Hair Of The Dog’ and Metallica with ‘Please Don’t Judas Me’). But although gratefully acknowledging the accolades for their recorded work, Nazareth attribute their success mainly to touring, touring and more touring and are still touring with no intentions of ever stopping.
