DJ Jazzy Jeff (Jeffrey Allen Townes) burst onto the scene in 1985 as one half of the groundbreaking duo DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince alongside Will Smith. Together, they sold over 15 million records worldwide and earned multiple honors, including three Grammy Awards (one of which was the first ever awarded for Rap), American Music Awards, NAACP Awards, and an MTV Music Award.
