Jon Allegretto

Chicago-based, nationally-touring recording artist Jon Allegretto has enjoyed decades long success as an independent singer/songwriter/guitarist as well as frontman of the bands A Friend Called Fire and The Jon Allegretto Collective.

Over the years he has shared the stage with an eclectic array of artists including Gary Clark Jr., Vance Joy, Bachman Turner, Andrew WK, and many more. As a solo artist Allegretto performs acoustic-based original music with a modern twist rooted in rock, blues, and folk, as well as spirited takes on popular classic hits from the ‘50s to today. Jon encourages crowd participation during his shows and offers insight to songs via his own brand of often comedic storytelling to create unique and unbeat live entertainment experience.
