Hard Rock Casino Tejon publicly recognized the leadership and partnership of the Kern County Sheriff’s Office and the Kern County Fire Department during a brief presentation before the Kern County Board of Supervisors at the 9:00am session.

As a token of appreciation, Sheriff Donny Youngblood and Fire Chief Aaron Duncan were each presented with commemorative Hard Rock guitars — a symbol of gratitude for their commitment to public safety and their strong collaboration with the casino since its opening.

Since opening last November, Hard Rock Casino Tejon has worked closely with local law enforcement and fire personnel to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for guests and team members. That partnership continues to strengthen as the property grows.

“From day one, Sheriff Youngblood and his team have been true partners in helping make Hard Rock Casino Tejon a success,” said Chris Kelley, Property President of Hard Rock Casino Tejon. “Their leadership, responsiveness, and professionalism have helped ensure the safety of our guests, employees, and the surrounding community.”

Kelley also recognized the critical role played by the Kern County Fire Department during the final stages of the property’s development.

“Kern County Fire Department, under the leadership of Chief Duncan, worked cooperatively with our team throughout the final phases of construction and inspection to help ensure the property opened safely and on schedule late last year,” Kelley added. “Their partnership and commitment to public safety were instrumental in bringing this project to life.”

The recognition also comes as construction continues on a new Sheriff’s substation and fire station adjacent to the casino property — facilities built with no taxpayer funding. Once complete, the new public safety infrastructure will further enhance emergency response capabilities in the area while serving the broader community for years to come.

Hard Rock Casino Tejon remains committed to working hand-in-hand with local public safety agencies to support Kern County’s growth and long-term success.
