Blood Bank

Hard Rock Casino Tejon and Houchin Community Blood Bank successfully partnered to host a community blood drive on Monday, July 13, bringing together employees, guests and local residents to help strengthen the local blood supply and support patients throughout Kern County.

The blood drive generated strong community participation with approximately 141 donors contributing over 100 pints of blood, helping ensure hospitals and emergency medical providers throughout the region have lifesaving blood products available when they are needed most. Every blood donation has the potential to help save multiple lives.

As a thank you for giving back, eligible donors who were Unity by Hard Rock members received $25 in Free Play following their donation. Guests also had the opportunity to enroll in the Unity rewards program before donating.

"At Hard Rock Casino Tejon, being a good neighbor means investing in the health and well-being of our community," said Chris Kelley, President of Hard Rock Casino Tejon.

"We're grateful to everyone who donated and to our partners at Houchin Community Blood Bank for helping make this event another success.
