With a career spanning nearly five decades, Keb’ Mo’ has become one of the most respected and influential voices in contemporary roots music. His signature sound seamlessly blends blues, folk, soul, jazz and Americana which earned him five GRAMMY Awards, 14 Blues Foundation Awards, seven Billboard Blues Chart No. 1 albums, and the Americana Music Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award for Performance.
After years establishing himself as a sought-after guitarist, songwriter and arranger, he broke through in 1994 with his acclaimed self-titled debut album, Keb’ Mo’. The album introduced audiences to his innovative approach to blues music, connecting traditional roots with contemporary storytelling, and helping redefine the genre for a new generation.
Throughout his celebrated career, Keb’ Mo’ has collaborated with an impressive roster of artists including Taj Mahal, Willie Nelson, Bonnie Raitt, The Chicks, and Lyle Lovett. His work has been recorded and sampled by artists ranging from B.B. King to BTS, and he has performed on some of the world's most prestigious stages, including Carnegie Hall, The White House, and major television programs such as Austin City Limits, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Tonight Show and Conan.
Keb’ Mo’ continues to push his artistry forward with his latest album, The Breakdown, a deeply personal collection of solo acoustic performances exploring resilience, healing and transformation. Recorded at his home studio outside Nashville, the album offers an intimate reflection on life’s challenges while celebrating the hope, faith and love that have long defined his music.
