CINCINNATI (June 22, 2022) – Bluegrass and country singer-songwriter Dwight Yoakam will perform at Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati on Friday, September 23 at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale at HardRockCasinoCincinnati.com via Ticketmaster on June 22 at 9 a.m.
Born in Pikeville, Kentucky, Yoakam grew up in Columbus before heading to California. His first EP, Guitars, Cadillacs, Etc., Etc., was a throwback to classic country, honky-tonk and bluegrass styles and spawned two hit singles, Honky Tonk Man and the title track, Guitars, Cadillacs.
His third album, Buenas Noches from a Lonely Room, included his first number 1 hit, Streets of Bakersfield with Buck Owens and earned double platinum status with five top 50 singles. He also has starred in a number of films and TV shows, including the movies Sling Blade, Panic Room and Wedding Crashers.
