CINCINNATI (November 1, 2022) – Officials at Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati provided a behind-the-scenes tour of the Hard Rock Sportsbook for media led by Property President George Goldhoff and Hall of Fame Broadcaster Marty Brennaman. The Hard Rock Sportsbook will officially open on Sunday, January 1, 2023, at 12:01 a.m. when sports betting becomes legal in the state of Ohio. 

 

Hard Rock Sportsbook will be located adjacent to the Hard Rock Cafe and will feature a new lounge area, 33 betting kiosks and betting windows. Ohioans can download and sign up now for the Hard Rock Sportsbook mobile app, which has a 4.8-star rating on iOS and Android or visit HardRockSportsbook.com for more information. New online players will receive a chance to win up to $5,000 in bonus bets by spinning the Mystery Wheel once Hard Rock Sportsbook begins taking bets on January 1, 2023.

 

Goldhoff also announced the list of Cincinnati sports celebrities who will celebrate New Year’s Eve and the launch of sports betting. They include:

At approximately 12:01 a.m. on January 1, 2023, Cincinnati Reds Legend Pete Rose will place the first bet for Hard Rock Sportsbook in Cincinnati. 

 

Additionally, Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon will host the New Year’s Eve Party in the Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati Event Center featuring entertainment by DJ Zayne and DJ Etrayn. $125 for two tickets includes appetizers, two drink tickets and access to the party. A “Limited Time $49.99 Prime Rib and Snow Crab Buffet Special” in the Food Hall will also be available from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on December 31.
