Los Félix X Abiaka Wood Fire Grill

February 20 - 23

Los Félix is a Michelin-Starred and Green Star restaurant offering a multi-sensory culinary experience that honors truth through flavor, imagination through natural wine, and atmosphere through vinyl records.

The pop-up will feature locally sourced produce, seafood, and meats. Embracing Milpa farming—an ancestral tradition emphasizing the sacred connection between self and land—the restaurant uses an in-house molino to cook and grind maíz daily, creating tortillas from scratch in the living wisdom of Milpa to mesa, or farm to table.

Meet the Chef

Led by Colombian-born chef Sebastián Vargas, Los Félix draws inspiration from indigenous heritage, focusing on traditional Mesoamerican dishes crafted with fresh, time-honored native ingredients like heirloom corn, cacao, and chiles. Heritage corn sourced from across the Americas and seafood fetched from nearby waters are foundational pillars for this youthful restaurant in Coconut Grove.

Sustainability is a point of pride for Chef Sebastián Vargas, who offers a finely poised expression of Mesoamerican cuisine that leans on subtle flavors and top-notch ingredients.
