SACRAMENTO, CA – Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain recently celebrated the grand opening of its Rocktane gas station, convenience store and drive-thru smoke shop. This is the first Hard Rock Rocktane gas station on the West Coast and second location in the portfolio. Hard Rock International also operates a Rocktane in Atlantic City.

 

The need for a gas station was a critical priority for the Enterprise Rancheria Tribe, not only as a customer amenity for the casino, but for the community and the property team members. Yuba County, in which the casino is located, has had a need for more gas stations in the area since 2017 under the threat of a breach of the Oroville Dam causing the evacuation of more than 100,000 people. Hard Rock Sacramento and the Enterprise Rancheria Tribe has also invested in generators so that the gas station will continue to operate seamlessly during power outages and other emergencies.

 

Local residents will enjoy discounted prices, while casino patrons are offered additional discounts based on their loyalty card level. All Wild Card loyalty members receive between a $.05 to $0.20 discount per gallon. Hard Rock team members also benefit from an employee discount at the pump.

 

Rocktane features 24/7 availability, 16 pumps offering three levels of gas as well as diesel, and a drive-through smoke shop. The 4,100 sq. ft. convenience store has a wide selection of beverages, prepared food and snacks and sundry items.

 

Rocktane Gas + Smoke is the first of two major construction projects in Hard Rock Sacramento’s Phase 2 $75 Million expansion of the property. In late Spring 2022, it will open Hard Rock Live, a 2,500-seat music and event venue that was also designed to serve the community as an emergency shelter when needed.
