How to Play

Mississippi Stud is a five-card poker game that lets a player bet up to 10 units on a single hand. Players compete against a pay table rather than each other or the dealer and win with a pair of Jacks or better. Hand rankings are the same as traditional poker. To begin, players make an Ante wager to receive their first two cards. The dealer will place three community cards face down in the middle of the layout. Once all players and the dealer have received their cards, players may either fold or make the 3rd Street wager at one to three times their Ante. The dealer will then reveal the first community card and players may either fold or make the 4th Street wager at one to three times their Ante. The dealer will then reveal the second community card and players may either fold or make the 5th Street wager at one to three times their Ante. The dealer then turns over the final community card and resolves all bets left in play. Players win if their five-card hand contains a pair of Jacks or better. Any time a player folds, all bets still in action on that hand are forfeited.
