Roulette at Hard Rock Atlantic City

How to Play

  • A Double-Zero Roulette wheel has 38 equally-spaced compartments on the wheel with thirty-six (36) numbers from 1 to 36, 0 and 00. The numbers are alternately colored red and black with 0 and 00 colored green.

  • A Single Zero Roulette wheel has 37 equally spaced compartments on the wheel, with only a 0.

The Roulette layout is numbered and colored the same as the Roulette wheel. The Roulette wheel is spun in one direction while the dealer spins the Roulette ball in the opposite direction. Players may place bets on any number, combination of numbers or section of numbers, red or black colors, odd or even numbers or 0 and/or 00, where applicable, with colored Roulette chips. Chips are sold as a single color to each player to differentiate between multiple players. The Roulette chip values are determined by the amount the player pays for a stack of 20 chips. The dealer signals the end of betting by saying, “No more bets.” Please remember, where players place their chips on the Roulette table determines their bet and the player is responsible for the correct placement of their chips. After the ball falls into a number on the Roulette wheel, the dealer will mark that number on the layout, clear all losing bets and pay all winning bets accordingly. There is a minimum value of $1 per Roulette chip and this value can vary depending on the table minimum. The Roulette chips have no value except at the specific table they were sold and must be redeemed at the same table prior to leaving the game. Value chips can be utilized at the discretion of the dealer/supervisor on inside wagers and are always welcome on outside wagers.
