Treat Your Sweetheart this Valentine’s Day

Having a hard time trying to figure out what to do with your significant other for Valentine’s Day? Trying to impress someone in hopes of taking things in your relationship to the next level?

Well, look no farther than Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, which will offer plenty of romantic opportunities in a variety of eclectic ways.

Hard Rock continues to be loyal to its brand and will once again be the only Atlantic City casino resort to offer major entertainment when it brings back “Motor City Live: The Classic Hits of Motown” beginning Valentine’s Day Eve. Full of Motown classics and timeless love songs, expects to hear songs including “This Old Heart of Mine,” “Mr. Postman” and many more. To keep things “Safe + Sound” individual tables of two and four seats will be offered to ensure social distancing. Shows will be offered 4 and 8 p.m. Saturdays and 4 p.m. Sundays, and tickets are just $29 and available at HardRockHotelAtlanticCity.com, Ticketmaster.com or by calling 800-745-3000.

The most traditional approach to the season of love is to have an awesome dinner, and the Hard Rock certainly has you covered there with a slew of options. If steak and seafood are your thing, Council Oak Steaks & Seafood never disappoints. Offering an elegant backdrop and view of the Boardwalk, Council Oak will offers specials that include: a 10-ounce filet mignon accompanied by foie gras butter, red wine demi and chives; a harissa-glazed sea bass with lentils, bacon lardons and truffle vinaigrette; and traditional surf and turf for two featuring a 45-day dry-aged ribeye – one of the greatest steaks you will ever devour – paired with a 2-pound, wood-fired lobster with lobster broth and scallion.

Kuro, one of the best restaurants in the city, will offer its Japanese-fusion menu including highlights such as: the Philly “Love” sushi roll with smoked salmon, Philly cream cheese, pickled shallots and cucumber; grilled shrimp and soba noodle salad with strawberries, arugula and a yuzu vinaigrette; and a flash-seared tuna steak with by miso shallot caramel and Belgian endive.

If Italian is your thing – and who doesn’t love Italian? – Il Mulino will satisfy those comfort food cravings with a $95 prix-fixe menu that will include salad, pasta, entrée and dessert, along with its regular menu. That is a superb deal, and the always-romantic, sophisticated, classy gourmet Il Mulino always impresses.

For more casual options, the Hard Rock Café and Sugar Factory offer fun Valentine’s options. The café will offer lobster specials including lobster flatbread, lobster Cobb salad, a deluxe steak special with marinated mushrooms, and the Valentine’s classic surf and turf deluxe steak featuring your choice of a 12-ounce New York strip or 8-ounce filet topped with a decadent lobster Thermidor sauce. Special holiday offerings also include a raspberry martini with fresh raspberries and a moist chocolate cake layered with chocolate pudding, drizzled in raspberry sauce and topped with fresh whipped cream.

The always calorie-laden Sugar Factory is always over the top, and a V-Day example of that is its new giant-sized Diamond Rosé Goblet made with Vanderpump Rosé. Of course, you always have to get your sweets on at Sugar Factory, so indulge in the Valentine’s fondue, dark chocolate covered strawberries and the Valentine’s Day Hearts of Love Insane Milkshake. If you go on Valentine’s Day – Feb. 14 – guests will receive a complimentary rose and chocolate-covered strawberry, while supplies last.

If you are looking for more interactive Valentine’s Day weekend activities, the Hard Rock delivers in that department, too. The love starts 6 p.m. Feb. 11, at the Valentine’s Cakebread Wine Dinner, Council Oak Executive Chef Quincy Logan pairs his amazing food with varietals from the always-fabulous Cakebread Wine portfolio. Hosted by William Bruno, regional director of Cakebread, the dinner is just $195 per person, and reservations are required.

Get your hands dirty and have some sweet fun noon Feb. 13 as Hard Rock Executive Pastry Chef Thaddeus DuBois teaches guests how to work with chocolate in simple and creative ways in his Sweetheart Truffle Class for just $35 per person. And, of course, you will take home a box of your own hand-made truffles.

All month, the Hard Rock will offer other reasons to head to Atlantic City such as buy-one, get-one-free room rates starting at just $59, Rock Spa specials such as the Pour Some Sugar on Me Chocolate Body Treatment and more.
